HI, I'M CHARLIE

I’m a Senior Games User Experience (UX) Designer at Eidos-Montreal. I specialise in helping teams deliver games that put the player at the centre of the development process, advocating for a player-centric mindset across all disciplines. I'm passionate about testing design hypotheses by creating user flows, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes and iterating rapidly on these with players.

I've worked on a wide range of games for different audiences, both as a UX designer and feature lead. These have included an unannounced action-adventure title with WB Games, Ubisoft's For Honor, Disney Infinity, and Forza Street. In addition to my industry experience, I also hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in User Experience Design which enable me to apply both practical and theorical knowledge to everything I design.

In my spare time I can often be found adventuring locally with my pugs Heisenberg and Dwight, or travelling the world. When at home, you'll usually find me maining Moira in Overwatch, petting virtual doggos in the Sims 4, or immersing myself in the latest narrative driven experience (though What Remains of Edith Finch is still my favourite).
