It's now time for Day Three of GDC which means the full Conference began, along with the Expo. Three of the talks I went to also happened to cover some of my favourite games of 2017, so I had to contain my inner fanboy inside while taking notes.

Day Two of GDC meant more Summits including Indie, Narrative, Board Game and Level Design. This also meant I was running around like a crazy person most of the day jumping from hall to hall. In between that though I was able to write down some notes.

When designing for children, you can't rely on assumptions. Things such as cognitive development and comprehension skills which we often take for granted in adults varies widely between children who are only a year apart in age. This makes it impossible to accurately predict how younger audiences will interact with our products until we've actually observed them using it.
